ORLANDO, FL – As the calendars turn to January, Global Scouting Bureau is gearing up for an exciting year across all facets of our operation. In addition to the ongoing relationship with Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) and the hosting of Player Development Days across the country; to the website completion and video broadcasting technology, GSB will be re-launching its Associate Scouting Network.

GSB’s Associate Scouting Network was at the forefront of the industry up until 2007 when a variety of new projects and clients became a greater priority. With the recent success of products such as video broadcasting and Player Development Days, the need for discovering and evaluating talent across the country is greater than ever.

GSB Associate Scouts will be spread throughout the country and have specific annual responsibilities including hosting a minimum of 2 showcase events. GSB is eager to profile and evaluate players from across the country and network people together through sports. Additionally, scouts will be responsible for securing video channel relationships with area youth, high school, college, and select programs in order to gain exposure for athletes throughout the USA.

Spearheading this effort is newly appointed Scouting Coordinator Sean Boudreaux, who has been heavily involved in developing young athletes in Louisiana for the last decade. Some of Sean’s recent success includes 2009 MLB 1st Rounder Jared Mitchell, 6th Rounder Zachary Von Rosenberg and 7th Rounder Brody Colvin. His Louisiana Legends summer select program has provided collegiate baseball opportunities for 95% of its participants since 2004.

For more information on the Associate Scouting Network, follow the links on our homepage, or contact Sean Boudreaux at sean@gsbsports.com or 985.956.2880.

ORLANDO, FL – Due to a series of failed commitments by the Florida Winter Baseball League (FWBL) to the Global Scouting Bureau (GSB), we have chosen to announce a formal separation from the client.

“At this time we (GSB) have decided to part ways from the FWBL, but are open to the possibility of renegotiating our partnership,” shared GSB President James Gamble.

GSB was hired as the management company to oversee formation, staff hiring, and eventual daily operations of the FWBL. After more than a year of continued efforts towards building a successful product on and off the field, recent events have forced the separation.

“We wish the Florida Winter Baseball League, its employees, ownership, and fans the best in their efforts towards becoming the premier alternative to Caribbean winter baseball.”
